Shine Award

Nominate a shining community member for the Shine Award. This is an award recognizing a community member who is dedicated to spreading the light of kindness in their everyday actions.

This award promotes kindness and a willingness to put others ahead of themselves.

Community members must be nominated by others without their knowledge or participation.

The Shine Award is presented to a person solely based on:

• Kindness
• Good character
• A positive attitude

Spread More Kindness

Sunshine Scholarship

Nominate a high school senior for the Sunshine Scholarship. This scholarship is given to a young person who is dedicated to bettering themselves, whether through college, trades, or in the workforce.

This scholarship promotes kindness and a willingness to put others ahead of themselves.

Students must be nominated by members of their community without the knowledge or participation of the student.

We don't base nominations on:

• Academics Achievements
• GPA
• Athletic Capability

The Sunshine Scholarship is solely based on the kindness, good character, and positivity they show in their everyday life.
